History/background

Educated in Shipping in Svendborg, Denmark in 1975, John V. Madsen has been working as a Shipbroker for more than 40 years. He has personally been involved in the conclusion of more than 1,000 charter parties including voyage, time and trip charters. He has since 1996 been handling some 300 MoA's - many with charter options attached. Mr Madsen has worked for various Owners, Brokers, Agents, Charterers and Operators in Denmark and abroad. He is familiar with all aspects of the business and enjoys a good reputation. A full CV and references can be provided upon request.

Beacon Shipsale ApS is a company registered under the laws and registry of Denmark with VAT number 29170444. It was established in 2005 to act as advisors and consultants and the company is 100 pct owned by John V. Madsen. The company is located in Helsinge, North of Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark.
